Originally from Milan, Sonia Campagnola spent seven years at Flash Art’s editorial office where she was working as managing editor before moving to the States in 2007. Currently she is the magazine’s Los Angeles editor.

Campagnola has written for a variety of publications including magazines such as Frieze, Rolling Stone Italia, Art+Auction, Artinfo, Mousse Magazine and Afterall online and publications for institutions such as the Hammer Museum and the KölnSkulptur 5.

Since 2007 she works as assistant curator at the exhibitions of the non-profit organization West of Rome Public Art in Los Angeles, including the “Women in the City” on going series of projects by women artists installed in public spaces of Los Angeles.
