Matsumoto Incorporated (formerly M Plus M Incorporated) is a design consulting firm specializing in graphic and product design. Principal and President Takaaki Matsumoto and his staff service a broad range of national and international clients. In 1987, Matsumoto co-founded M Plus M Incorporated. In 1994, he became sole Principal and President of the company.
Takaaki Matsumoto is a native of Japan who came to the United States in 1974. Prior to founding Matsumoto Incorporated, he attended Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California and then served as the Art Director for Knoll International in New York City.
Matsumoto Incorporated has been recognized with numerous honors, including awards for its work from the American Institute of Graphic Arts, the Society of Typographic Arts, the Type Directors Club, the American Association of Museums, and the Art Directors Clubs of both New York and Los Angeles.
